1:24Now PlayingSen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Tuesday said he did not "trust" Pakistan to serve as a mediator in talks between the U.S. and Iran after reports suggested Islamabad was cooperating with Tehran.
"I don't trust Pakistan as far as I can throw 'em," the South Carolina Republican said at a hearing with top Pentagon officials.
Sen. Graham cited reports that Pakistan had allowed Iranian aircraft to park at its military bases as evidence for his mistrust.
"If they actually do have Iranian aircraft parked in Pakistan bases to protect Iranian military assets, that tells me we should be looking maybe for somebody else to mediate," he said. "No wonder this damn thing is going nowhere!"
