Gilbert Arenas and Vlad delved into how Tory Lanez ended up getting stabbed in prison despite his wealth. According to insider Freeway Ricky, Tory allegedly flirted with the girlfriend of a Mexican lifer during visiting hours. This caused tension, as in prison hierarchy, such actions are severely frowned upon, especially across racial lines. The offended inmate reportedly got approval from the prison’s black inmate “board” to attack Tory. Gilbert Arenas expressed surprise that Tory’s money didn’t buy him protection, noting that in prison, cash usually safeguards inmates from conflicts across different racial groups. Vlad added that Tory likely spent heavily on legal fees, and by the time he was incarcerated, may not have had enough funds for such security.
