1:10Now PlayingIDAHO FALLS — Multiple fire crews are on the scene of a structure fire on the 6400 block of Doug Andrus Drive near Interstate 15.
Idaho Falls Fire Chief Dave Hanneman told EastIdahoNews.com that emergency personal responded to a reported roof fire at 4:15 p.m. Thursday.
On arriving at the scene EastIdahoNews.com crews observed a group of construction workers on the roof of a concrete warehouse waiting to be rescued. There was no visible fire.
“We were told some of the roofing material caught on fire,” Hanneman said. “Nobody is hurt and we’ve got everyone off the roof. At this point we are investigating to make sure if it there was a fire that it has been put out”.
