VO: A new soda stop in Ammon has picked up the latest fizzy trend, while giving customers an added boost of positivity to their day.
SOT: “Anybody can transact a pop and a cookie. Pick Me Up is so much more. We want people to come to get a pick me up,” Co-founder Josh Searle said. “We’re about the human connection.”
VO: Pick Me Up specializes is customizable flavored Soda’s and Energy drinks.
SOT: “Here we sell, I call them ‘glorified sodas,’” Josh said.
VO: They use your favorite soda as the base of your drink with added mixtures of chunky fruit purees like mango or raspberry, or syrups like blackberry or Irish cream. For customers who’ve never been Co-owner Josh Searle says the booster hardly disappoints.
SOT: “One of our most famous drinks is the booster with your Mountain Dew, with raspberry puree, and we add either a mango or a peach. It’s almost like drinking a glorified piece of candy. It’s super, super good,” Josh said.
VO: Along with a refreshing drink, customers can choose a treat out of four cookie options, a sugar cookie, a non-raisin oatmeal cookie, a soft peanut butter cookie, and a classic chocolate chip cookie.
SOT: “People who hated their grandmas raisin cookie, not a problem anymore,” Searle said.
STAND UP: I’m in front of Pick Me up trying two of their signature products. The first one is The Posh, and Josh is going to introduce what that is. “We call it the Posh it has fresh lime in it and coconuts,” Josh said. “Another think would be our signature cookie, the non-raisin oatmeal cookie.”
VO: As apart of a Facebook contest Josh and his gang delivered a free drink and cookie to contest winners.
SOT: “I definitely needed a pick me up, I just had baby born, three weeks old Not (getting) very much sleep so the extra caffeine and sugar is definitely helping me get through my work day,” Michael said.
