Karan Johar asks Kareena Kapoor about her ‘long history’ with ‘Gadar 2’ actress Ameesha Patel

Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen gracing the ‘koffee couch’ on the upcoming episode of the popular celebrity chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. The teaser of the episode was recently released by the show’s host and filmmaker Karan Johar, and looks like fans have a lot to look forward to. For starters, KJo asked Kareena why she did not attend the success party of ‘Gadar 2’. ‘Because you and Ameesha Patel have such history?’, Karan added. When Kareena further asked him what he was referring to, he reminded her, ‘You were meant to do Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.’ Bebo turned her head away from Karan, and said, ‘I’m ignoring Karan, as you all can see’ while looking at the audience seated in the room. Notably, Kareena Kapoor and Ameesha Patel have had an alleged feud as Bebo was replaced by the latter in ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ after a few of days of shoot. Talking about the Rakesh Roshan-directorial in a 2002-interview, Kareena had reportedly said ‘The film was made for Hrithik. His dad spent five hours on every frame and close-up of his, whereas not even five seconds were spent on Ameesha. There are portions in the film where she has pimples and under-eye bags on her face. She just doesn’t look beautiful, but every shot of his was a dream. If I were in the film, I would have definitely got a better deal, but I still feel that the attention would have divided between us. So, I’m glad I didn’t do the film.’
