Republican Representative Lauren Boebert has been in Congress for less than six months, but her constituents are already sick of her. In addition to having an underwater approval rating, the people in the district now say that they are routinely "humiliated" and "embarrassed" by both her antics and her refusal to do anything to help them. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Republican representative Lauren Boebert from Colorado has only been on the job actually for less than six months at this point, but she is already embarrassing her constituents. And those aren't my words, by the way, those are actually the words of her constituents who say that they are both humiliated and embarrassed by her antics in Congress. Now, Boebert, uh, in the early days of this particular Congress was getting just as much press as Republican representative, Marjorie Taylor green, I mean two sides of the same coin there. But as Taylor green has gotten a little bit more extreme Boebert kind of fallen by the wayside, but not to her constituents who are very clearly paying attention right now. She has a 42% approval rating in her district compared to a 45% disapproval rating. So she is in fact underwater, but it's the statements that these constituents made in recent interviews with Politico that show us what they really think.

Here's just a couple of quotes here. When I think of Lauren Boebert, I think of that expression, all hat and no cattle when she had the opportunity to support stimulus funding, she's chose Trump over us. It's very frustrating. Another one said one of the key parts of that infrastructure plan is Amtrak expansion. Ours is one of the only three mills in the country that makes rail, if we can get just that part of the answer of infrastructure plan alone, past that will be business that would keep us in jobs for many years. Another one, this one, definitely a Republican says, I thought Lauren Boebert will be a great representative for small business owners because she owns a small business and she came from a humble lifestyle, but she has been so terribly disappointed. I am humiliated and embarrassed when she speaks on the house floor, she screams all the time and she seems to have affiliated herself with white

Supremacists. See, that's the problem that a lot

Of these people have. And honestly, it is not just limited to the right. They, they, they have these lofty promises. People think that, Hey, just because you came from this or you did this, you were a small business owner, whatever it is, you're going to go there and you're going to legislate for us. Lauren. Boebert never had any intention whatsoever of going to Congress and doing anything other than praising Donald Trump much like Marjorie Taylor green, Boebert wanted to make a name for herself. She wanted to be famous. She wanted to be the representative that got to go on TV all the time, wanted the entire country to know her name. And she succeeded in that.

But in the process of doing

So off her constituents to the point where even Republicans in the city of Pueblo, Colorado, by the way, which is kind of the district, that's going to decide where that race goes. Next year,

They're furious.

They didn't want a show person. They didn't want to see a bunch of political theater. What they wanted were results, what they wanted were jobs. They wanted stimulus. They wanted these things for their communities and bow bird has done absolutely nothing for them. Now I will contrast that with Marjorie Taylor green, cause again, the two are so similar. It's frightening Marjorie Taylor Green's district actually doesn't care. They enjoy her antics. They like what they're seeing, even though she like Boba has literally done nothing at all for her particular district or for anyone in the country, actually over in Georgia, they love Marjorie Taylor green. Colorado's a little bit different story. Not quite as cut and dry Bovert is not in a Republican safe district. It is in fact, a swing district. And right now it is swinging against her. And that's a good thing. Those voters are paying attention.

They want results, not theater. And

Honestly we need more voters like that all across the country who look beyond party lines and they say, what is this person actually doing for this district that we sent them to Congress to represent? And if the answer is nothing,

Vote them out and move along.
