Apparently Herschel Walker, who is the former professional football player. Now the Republican candidate for George's Senate seat, apparently he's mad at Donald Trump cuz Donald Trump, of course, as we all know, has been taking credit for Herschel Walker's victory in that primary a couple weeks ago, he's actually last week, but either way, Herschel Walker is mad and he says he's mad. And in an interview recently with killer Mike, this is what Herschel Walker had to say about Donald Trump. Not just claiming victory in the Herschel Walker saga, but claiming that he's the one who convinced Herschel Walker to run in the first place. This is what Walker has to say. One thing that people don't know is is president Trump never asked me, I need to tell him that he never asked. I heard it all on television that he's going to ask Herschel saying, Hersel's going to run.

President Trump never came out and said, Herschel, will you run for that Senate seat? So I'm mad at him cuz he never asked, but he's taking credit. What he asked then when asked why he ran, this is what he had to say. I prayed about it. And to be honest with you, I was praying that God would bring somebody else because I'm happy my life is doing well, but I love the Lord Jesus. So apparently it was the Lord Jesus who came down and said, Herschel, you gotta run. And Donald Trump said, hold up, Jesus, that's up to me. Isn't it now. Um, so yeah, Donald Trump has been saying, he asked Herschel Walker to run. And honestly, in this situation, given the fact that you have two men who have a history of lying to the public, I don't know who to believe. You know, as we've discussed in the past, Herschel Walker has lied repeatedly about his own history.

Uh, he's lied about the businesses he's connected to. He lied about even finishing, getting his degree from the university of Georgia. He lied and said he was valedictorian when he didn't even graduate. So yeah, lots of lies from Herschel Walker as for Donald Trump, according to the Washington post, he lied more than 25,000 times in the four years he was in office. So clearly he's got a little problem with the truth and he continues to lie to this day about things like the election, things like the Biden administration, the border, China, Russia, pretty much anything that he talks about. You can guarantee Trump's gonna lie about something. So it would make sense that Trump would be lying here. But Herschel Walker's also a proud man. He doesn't want somebody else getting the credit for his victory. So he also has a history of lying. So maybe he's lying. I don't know. And that's the problem with all of these ridiculous individuals. You know, when we have such clownish buffoons out there in our political system,

Now it's hard to make sense of anything. And to me that's really what's at the heart of this story personally. I don't care if Trump told him to run. I don't care if Trump forced him at gunpoint to run. I don't care if Herschel Walker made this decision on his own or if Jesus Christ himself did appear to Herschel Walker and said, you're gonna run for office. None of that matters. None of it, not a bit of it matters to anyone anywhere. Anytime. What does matter is the dumbing down of our political system. What does matter is the fact that we have candidates and we have former politicians who lie so frequently to us that we have no idea who to believe on any given day. That's a problem for me. And it should be a problem for everyone. And hopefully it's enough of a problem for voters in Georgia to understand that Herschel Walker, whether Trump did it or not.
