YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAccording to tapes of meetings that have been obtained by Politico, the Republican Party is working on a strategy to recruit poll workers all over the country to work in Democratic areas to challenge voters at the polls in this year's elections. This is a clear form of voter intimidation, and the plan also calls for a "network" of District Attorneys to be available on the phone to immediately handle any legal challenges that arise. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Apparently, this is just the week for even more disturbing leaks from the Republican party. Because in addition to, as I talked about earlier, the RNC leaked memo, trying to not talk about election fraud, while also demonizing the January 6th committee, there's been other leaks, other recordings, other plans of the Republican party that have now become public, that the party I'm sure wishes hadn't. And this second story here is about a Republican plan to actually recruit poll workers, not poll Watchers, poll workers, people hired by the precincts. You know, the volunteers, the people that hand out the ballots that check your little name off the list. When you go and check in the people that feed it into the machine for you and give you your little sticker. The Republican party is actively trying to recruit more poll workers for democratic areas of the country so that they can be the ones to challenge these democratic voters.
When they come in to cast a ballot, they have trained them according to recordings, obtained from zoom meetings and other in person meetings that these Republicans have been having. They're telling these people to actively challenge whether or not these people who show up in the heavily democratic areas are even eligible to vote. Start asking them questions. They're saying, have you ever been to jail? Are you sure you're eligible to vote? You seem a little unsure. They're trying to effectively harass these people when they show up at the polls to vote. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of this Republican plan to disenfranchise democratic voters at polling stations. The other part of it is they said, they're gonna have a hotline. They're gonna have a hotline filled with Republican lawyers, waiting for you to call them if the voter is still insists on voting so that you can say, I've got a lawyer on the phone right now, here is the potential, you know, basically what you could be facing. If you're lying to me about your eligibility to vote, trying to scare people, even people who clearly have no, you know, reason why they're not allowed to vote. But if you can create that doubt in somebody saying, oh, well, if you've been to prison before you may not be eligible. Well, it's a true statement, depending on where in the country you live.
And most people don't know that it could be a former felon that served their time as fully eligible to vote now. But if you can create that doubt, scare them into thinking they could go back to prison. They may turn around and walk out. That's the plan that is absolutely 100% the plan of these people. Oh, and it's not done in addition to having their hotline of their army, as they call it of Republican lawyers. They're also recruiting. Well, here it is identifying friendly district attorneys who could stage real time interventions in local election disputes. So that's another intimidation factor. Say I've got the district attorney on the phone with me right now. The da, the people that carry out these prosecutions. Do you wanna speak to him? Do you want to know what he has to say? Do you want to know what she can do to people who voted illegally intimidation and harassment, and here is what they said during a meeting.
Remember guys, we're trying to build out a nationwide district attorney network, your local district attorney, as we always say is more powerful than your Congressman. This is how Republicans wanna steal the 20, 22 election. While these jackasses are out there, still trying to create doubt about the 2020 election claiming the Democrats stole it. They are actively planning behind the scenes to steal the next one. That is what this is. Voter intimidation. Voter harassment is illegal. If you go to the polls, doesn't matter if it's in the primary. Doesn't matter if it's in the general, that's coming November. If you go to the polls and you feel as if you are being harassed, you call the police.
