Ann Coulter Thinks Republicans Are Stupid For Falling For Trump's Schtick Again

So this week we've seen a lot of claims from Republicans that ha Democrats, you've now made Donald Trump a martyr. We have seen his poll numbers go up since the indictment. We have seen his campaign fundraising explode since the indictment. And all signs right now seem to be pointing to this indictment helping Trump with his 2024 presidential campaign. But there's a couple people that see right through it. They understand what's happening and they know that conservatives are falling into the same dang trap that Democrats have set for them in the past. Now, before I tell you who those individuals are, cuz there's several of them prominent conservatives, let, let's just explain that Democrats aren't setting a trap for anybody. Okay? There, there, there's no trap there, there's no scheme. It's just accountability. Finally came for Donald Trump. And you know what? We're a little bit happy about it.

They got more accountability coming just around the corner according to, uh, sources in Georgia, by the way. But Anne Coulter, prominent conservative author in pundit, wrote on her CK this week that conservatives are falling for the same old tricks because they never learn a thing. Here's what she wrote. Uh, Democrats are trying to trick Republicans into choosing the worst possible presidential nominee. Guess what? It's working new g o p motto, unable to learn from the third kick of a mule. Democrats are playing Republicans like a fiddle. The left sole objective is to make Trump the Republicans 2024 presidential nominee. He's already lost three election cycles for the G O P. Why not make it four? So coulter's, but you're at the wrong people. Again, look, I am a registered Democrat, always have been, but I gotta be honest, like the leadership of our party is not the brightest, okay?

Like they kind of suck at their jobs most of the time. I'm sorry, but let's be honest, they're not that great at it. They are not clever enough, unfortunately, to come up with a scheme like this. I look, honestly, I wish they were that smart, but they're not. So, and you're giving way too much credit to the leadership of the Democratic Party. They didn't plan this, they didn't plot this. It's not some big major conspiracy to make Trump the nominee. It's just a bunch of different investigations finally caught up to Donald Trump. And for some reason, rather than tanking his campaign, his idiotic supporters, even people who had left him that had moved on to being never Trumpers, have come back to him according to polls and focus groups within the last week. So that's kind of shocking, but that's on your party, Anne. You're right that they're not learning after the third kick from the mule, but that's not because Democrats have tricked them. It's just because your party is painfully stupid.

Coulter's not the only one right wing commentator. Stephen Miller in an op-ed on Newsweek wrote this, Trump is not due back in court in New York City till December a month before the first likely g o p primary debate. The real G D G O P debates are actually supposed to start this summer, but this will be the kind of the first and last before the primary. Those debates will not focus on the central issues facing the country, but rather the legal problems swirling around the former president candidates will be forced to address the relationship to the former president and where they stand with him and not much else. The goal here is to once again, engineer an endless news cycle. Oxygen suck, and it's being engineered by the Biden White House, the dnc, their allies in mass media and even Trump himself, who is oftentimes a willing participant driving all the noise.

Again, y'all can't have it both ways. You can't be like Biden's, a bumbling idiot suffering from dementia who doesn't know what's happening, and then in the next breath be like, Biden is this evil genius that has concocted this brilliant elaborate scheme that nobody could have seen coming because of his brilliance. Y you can't have it both ways. It's, you know, you gotta kind of stick to one talking point or the other.
