I have a viewer question here from, uh, uh, YouTube user, Rashad, Jeannie, and, and sometimes believe it or not, uh, there's actually folks out there who watch these videos every day. And thank you all, by the way, for that. Uh, we just crossed 400,000 subscribers. That is awesome. I love it. Let's keep going. I don't ever wanna stop doing this. Um, but some people actually do want to know more about just me as a person, not always politics. Like, let's ask some, some more personal questions. So this is a personal question, and I do like getting these. Uh, again, this is from YouTube user, Rashad Jeannie, who asks, how do you decompress in such a stressful state? Paddleboarding games of pool, grilling with the family? And, uh, that, that's a very difficult question because I don't know that I ever actually fully decompress. Um, I am constantly going through social media, looking for news stories.
I'm on message boards looking for stories. I'm going to regular news websites, looking for stories, even when I'm on vacation. Like if I have time where I'm not recording videos for like a week, I will still go through the news. I, I have to know what's going on. And that's not a, a compulsion. Like I have to know what's going on. It's just because of what I do. Because if you sit out for a week and you're not reading anything, you're not doing anything. Uh, sometimes even for like 12 hours, um, the news can change, weird things can happen, and suddenly you're so far behind that when you come back and you start talking about things, you're missing valuable context. So do I ever fully decompress? Not necessarily. I will say, um, I do spend, uh, obviously weather's getting a little cooler now, so not as much time spent most of the summer in the pool with the kids and the wife, uh, having fun.
We, uh, they've got, uh, down here on the beach, they've got these, uh, you know, inflatable things like obstacle courses, stuff like that. We did that, uh, several times. Uh, it was a ton of fun. And we've been taking more vacations. Um, we did a wonderful vacation to, uh, a city called Page Arizona over the summer. That place is beautiful and, and I've told my wife ever since then, like, we should like, consider moving here. I loved it so much. Page Arizona is an amazing place. Um, we got a trip coming up to New York, uh, gonna take in a, a football game, which is awesome. And during football season, one of the best ways I decompress is by getting angry about football instead of angry about politics for a little bit. So that's always fun. I do really enjoy watching football. We've been trying to go to more live games. Um, we don't have any teams like here with us, so we always have to travel for it, so we make a big vacation out of it. Um, and other than that, like it's, I I do enjoy Marvel movies. I know a lot of people like to say that, Hey, that's not cinema. I don't care. Like, I, I really genuinely do not care. I find it entertaining. It's a great escape, and I don't think anybody should begrudge anybody else there, you
Know, way that they escape. 'cause when I, when I watch a movie like that, um, and that's not the only movies I watch, but it's, you know, primarily it's a good escape. I'm not thinking about politics when I'm doing that. Uh, I'm not working, I'm not stressing out and I like it. So it's a good escape for me. So if you're one of those people that are like, Marvel movies suck. Wonderful. Have your opinion. I just don't care. So that's how I decompress. Um, kids' wife, fun.
