Georgia Prosecutor Says That Trump Is Going To Jail

This is a strong indication that Willis not only knows the power of the evidence that she has, but also that she isn't going to be seeking a lenient sentence against Trump just because he is the former president. According to newly released emails, Fulton County District Attorney Fannie Willis, in an email exchange with Donald Trump's lawyers that did get a little bit heated 'cause they were accusing her of some things. She got, fired back at them. But I'm getting ahead of myself because in these emails, Fannie Willis, the woman who will be prosecuting Donald Trump, said that Trump's going to jail. In fact, here are her exact words. We have a long road ahead. Long after these folks are in jail, we will still be practicing law. That's what she sent to Donald Trump's lawyers. You know, again, there's lots that's not the only, she didn't just send an email that just said that, uh, basically telling these folks like, Hey, you may wanna think about your futures here because these folks are going to jail and you want to have a law career after that, right?

So maybe don't make baseless allegations against me that are gonna end up getting you in trouble. One of the allegations that they hit her with was that she allegedly was not cooperating with the discovery schedule. Something that even the judge said, it was simply not right. So yeah, Fannie Willis was in the right, Trump's lawyers were making crap up. But it's that statement, right? Long after these people are in jail, will still be practicing law. What does that mean? It means several things. One, it means that Willis is confident enough in the evidence that she has against Donald Trump to be able to say plainly clearly and confidently that he's gonna go to jail. Like she knows what she has, she knows what the other side has. She knows what the defense has, right? Everybody knows what everybody has. And she's like, nah, I got him like he's done.

And you really cannot fix that. That's number one. Number two, and this might even be more important than that, is she's signaling to these Trump lawyers that when all is said and done, after I get this conviction, guess what? I'm not gonna ask for a lenient sentence just because he is the former president of the United States. I'm looking for jail time. I'm not looking for exceptions. I'm not looking for house arrest. I'm looking for a prison sentence for your client. Now, that's been the big question mark, right? I've done tons of q and As and everybody, not everybody, but every time I do it, multiple people will ask like, is could Trump really go to jail? Well, don't ask me. Ask f Willis now, because she seems to say, hell yeah, he's gonna go to jail. Hell yeah, I will put him in jail. We'll figure out how to make it work when the time comes.

But I am not gonna go easy on this guy, just because he served as president of the United States in the eyes of Fanny Willis. Yes, this is a high profile person she's taking down, but in her eyes, he's just like any other person in her district that she has to do a trial against. Young, old, rich, poor, doesn't matter. She has a job to do. And she's gonna do the same kind of job against Donald Trump as she would against, you know, a a, a drug dealer or whoever it is. I'm gonna hit you where it hurts, and I'm gonna do what I can to get bad people off the streets. That's what Fanny Willis is telling us. And again, the logistics of putting Donald Trump in jail, something a lot of people have questions about, but it's not impossible. And the logistics of it also should not prohibit Donald Trump from paying the price if he is convicted.

If he is convicted, he needs to be treated like anybody else going through the system. He should not get special favors. And so far, by the way, in Fulton County, he has not gotten special favors. He got special favors, you know, with the DC indictment. He got special favors with the Florida indictment, got special favors with the New York indictment, didn't have to get his mugshot, didn't have to go through all that kind of processing, but he did in Fulton County because they're taking this seriously. They took off the kid gloves in a way that none of these other indictments have.
