Jack Smith Is Dragging His Feet On Removing Judge Aileen Cannon

It is beyond evident at this point that Judge Eileen Cannon, the Trump appointed judge overseeing the documents trial that she's clearly in the tank for Donald Trump. I mean, just a series of ruling after ruling after ruling in Trump's favor granting hearings on things that ordinarily would not even warrant hearings. But she is so inexperienced, so bad at her job, and so biased in favor of Donald Trump, that she has done everything possible from the outset of this to benefit Trump. Which leads us to another viewer question. This is from at, uh, Collier, who asks, is it possible that Jack Smith was instructed by someone within the DOJ that he can't petition the 11th circuit for his case against defendant Donald Trump? Now, was he instructed by the DOJ that he cannot do that? I, I don't think so. I I I think that's a, a little out of the realm of possibility.

Um, but what I do think everybody needs to understand is that the 11th circuit, which is where Smith would have to go to get Canon removed from the case, it's a conservative court. I mean, it has a conservative majority. Hell, it has a Trump appointed majority on that court. And it is overseen by a very arch conservative, justice by the name of William Pryor. Pryor was actually under consideration to be appointed to the US Supreme Court by Donald Trump. Like that is how conservative what a hardliner he is. So the 11th Circuit, even though they have of course ruled against Judge Cannon multiple times, it's unlikely that they would be able to actually get her kicked off the case. Now, do I think there is plenty of evidence to remove Judge Cannon from the case? Absolutely. I mean, I maintain that at this point you have enough evidence to impeach and remove and convict Judge Cannon either for gross incompetence or clear bias or both.

It is very obvious what she has done, but I think the gross incompetence thing is something that kind of gets overshadowed by her bias. You know, I, I explained this in a video a week ago, but it's not just that she's biased in favor of Donald Trump. She also has been so oblivious to what the law actually says that the prosecutors for the DOJ have literally during hearings, had to explain to her how the law works, not just, here's what the law says. They have to break it down for her. And according to the reporters that have been present, she still doesn't appear to understand it. Uh, you know, she has had 14 days of criminal trial experience since she has been on the bench

14 days for separate trials. So honestly, she doesn't know what she's doing. She should never have been appointed to be a federal judge in the first place. But it is what it is, right? We can't change that until we get a Democratic majority in the House in the Senate. But could Jack Smith put together a strong enough case to get the Conservative 11th Circuit Court to remove her from the case? I think he could, but for some reason he is not. Maybe he thinks differently. Maybe he knows better than I do, which I'm sure he does, that those justices on that 11th circuit are not gonna get rid of this, you know, Trump appointed judge. So he may just be like, listen, I know that I'm screwed here. I know there's not much I can do, but I'm not putting all my eggs in this basket anyway because I got another case against him. And that's the big one anyway. So maybe that's what he's thinking. Maybe he wants to devote more attention to the case in front of Judge Tanya Chut. But whatever it is, I think he should go for it. But I also trust his judgment. So if he hasn't done it yet, there's likely a very good reason for it.
