Vice President J. D. Vance, who of course is having a really tough go of literally everything that he is in charge of with this administration, decided to go on Fox News this week and blame the Democrats for all of Donald Trump's crisis that Donald Trump himself has created. And the reason all of these horrible things happening to everybody in America are even exist is because the Democrats, according to JD Vance, are not working with the president. Here is what JD Vance said. I would love it if they were willing to work with us on lowering housing prices, on lowering gasoline prices, on actually making the lives of American citizens better. We could have some real bipartisan compromise.
Now, even though there's only, you know, three and a half sentences in there, there's about a million things wrong with literally everything he said. First and foremost, we could be lowering housing prices. Oh, you mean like the House and Senate passed last week and then your boss, Donald Trump, decided to just not sign? We we we already have that. It's literally your part, the executive branch that is refusing to do that. Okay. It was done. Democrats and Republicans came together, bipartisan support, passed the legislation. your guy says, "I'm not going to sign it because I'm throwing a little hissy fit right now." Okay? So, shut the f up about that. Lowering gas prices. The only way that Congress can actually lower gas prices would be to implement price controls upon the oil industry operating here in the United States. Anything short of that is not going to have any effect due to the fact that oil is sold on the global market. And really, there's not a whole hell of a lot any of us can do about oil prices, except of course, unless they were to pass a resolution saying that Donald Trump cannot continue his war with Iran, therefore reopening the straight of Hormuz. But Republicans are the ones not doing that. And John Federman. Now, the reason gas prices are so high, JD, is not because the Democrats did something or didn't do something. It's once again because your boss [ __ ] around in Iran and is now finding out across the globe. So again, two things that are actually the fault of your branch of government. Also,
when you when you talk about Democrats, Democrats, Democrats, you do realize they're a minority in both the House and Senate, right? Not to mention the fact that they're not, you know, filibustering, holding the floor so nothing can happen. Like, that's not happening. The real problem you have right now, JD, and you know this. Laura Ingram, who was interviewing you, also knows this, but you guys just know the Fox News audience is, you know, very, very dumb. So, they'll believe anything you tell them. So, you lie to their faces every single [ __ ] day. But, you know that your own party is the one that cannot agree on anything. There are these two waring factions in the House of Representatives that I've talked about repeatedly in the last week. You got the MAGA fanatics telling Mike Johnson, "We're not going to do anything until you pass the Save Act." The other establishment Republicans telling Mike Johnson, "We're not going to do anything unless you don't do the Save Act." like all this crazy crap in the House and a little bit in the Senate, but not much because your party can't agree with one another on anything.
