1.) The Supreme Court ruled the government may detain legal immigrants with past criminal records without a bond hearing. The 5-4 decision reverses a lower courts ruling. It is viewed as a victory for the Trump administration and its hardline immigration policy.
2.) The FDA approved the first drug to specifically treat post-partum depression. On average, the medication will cost $34,000 per patient and must be taken intravenously over 60 hours. The drug, brexanolone will be marketed under the name Zulresso.
3.) A federal judge ruled the Interior Department violated federal law by failing to take into account the climate change impact of oil and gas leasing out west. The judge temporarily blocked drilling on roughly 300,000 acres of land in Wyoming.
