In Lusaka, Zambia, where Jason is living the HIV percentage is nearly 20% meaning that about one in five people have the disease. We hope that you'll join us in learning more about this serious disease and fighting back.
HIV/AIDS is a serious disease that has claimed millions of lives for several decades. While there is no cure, the development of Antiretroviral drugs has reduced the mortality and severity of the disease. Unfortunately, lack of funding for ARV drugs and limited HIV testing has allowed this epidemic to continue spreading particularly in African countries.
