Larry Sharpe returns to the airwaves after a week off due to the snow storm. He returns to talk all kinds of topics in New York State politics while taking your questions. This week, he focuses on small business.

Segment 1

He starts the show discussing what the government’s role should be in small business and how he will help small business owners. He talks about how schools can protect themselves from potential dangers such as shootings. He delves into the Safe Act.

Larry on the government’s role in small business: “The government is punishing small businesses. Franchises have taken over the red tape.”

Larry on how to stop a potential attack on schools: “I want to break the planning process. That’s what any counter-terrorism expert would tell you.”

Larry goes into gun control in our country and then where our taxpayer money should go to. He gives his take on speed limits in New York. Gives a brief history of speed limits and what should be done to them to improve safety on the roads. He then goes through a quick fire round with a caller with topics including illegal vs. legal prostitution, Illegal immigration, abortion, adoption and health care.

Larry then takes a question on the legality of marijuana in New York. What he will do for people arrested for marijuana possession. He breaks down family law in New York State especially grandparents rights.

Segment 4

Larry wraps up the show by talking about the vaping industry. He weighs in on Cynthia Nixon joining the Governor’s Race and competing for the democratic ticket against incumbent Andrew Cuomo. He then discusses how he will handle property taxes in the state. He then gets into Stand your Ground Laws in New York as well as metals and cryptocurrency. He ends the show with a brief take on why Gary Johnson should’ve been elected.

Larry on Stand your Ground Laws: “Stand your Ground Laws make it easy for people to use them to hurt people.”
