THIS WEEK: Governor Cuomo’s NYS Budget.
This week, we’re talking about Governor Cuomo’s NY Budget. I’m running for Governor of New York in 2018 and I’ll move New York away from a state of punishment and bribery to one of innovation and opportunity. Listen in, call in, and find out how and why. It’s all about innovation, choice, and growth at The Governor’s House.
Segment 1
(Financial Trouble)
Someone comes to a friend and asks, “what should I do?”
Don’t say ‘keep spending money’. That is what the current governor of New York state has said. He has taken no responsibility for this at all. What he should be saying is, “Wow, I have been a terrible governor.”
Larry Sharp as governor would say, “We’re in a bad spot, we have to cut spending and then be better in ourselves to prepare for the future.”
Segment 2
Larry Sharpe will spend the first year getting people to realize the flaws of the safe act. He would rather focus on fewer shootings, than focus on fewer people being shot in mass shootings.
“When people have less to lose, they tend to not want to shoot people up.” -Sharpe
“I want to create an environment where people want to be here. Not an environment where we have to bribe them.” Sharpe
Segment 3
Larry explains he is running as a libertarian because this race isn’t just about him. It is about making sure we don’t just have the same two tribes that have been fighting each other forever. It reinforces everything that is bad about those two parties. “I want to show people HOW you can do it and THAT you can do it.” -Sharpe
Segment 4
END the war on drugs and LEGALIZE Marijuana
Cuomo’s plan is that he wants to blame the pharmaceutical companies and we’re going to charge them for all the opioids they give out.
The other option is LEGALIZE Marijuana! What other drugs can treat depression?! More people would be using marijuana and less would be using opioids. Pharmaceutical companies would start prescribing Cannabis instead of opioids.
