Katherine Magbanua, one of the three conspirators responsible for the murder of Florida State University professor Dan Markel, took the stand on October 30 to testify in her ex-boyfriend Charlie Adelson's murder trial. According to Magbanua, she previously lied in her testimony when she claimed she "had nothing to do with the murder." However, during recent court proceedings, she admitted to lying to the jury about her statements made in 2022. In this testimony, tension between the defense and Magbanua escalated, leading to a heated argument in court regarding her previous false statements. Magbanua pointed out that "Charlie was the mastermind behind the murders." She is currently serving a life sentence behind bars, and if convicted, Charlie Adelson may join her.
