Magbanua is currently serving a life sentence for her involvement in the 2014 murder of Dan Markel. Katherine remained cooperative with the court, as she revealed to have lied in her 2022 testimony and stated the homicide was “Charlie’s idea." Adelson is accused of being the mastermind behind the heinous killing and could face life behind bars along with Magbanua if found guilty.
