Phillips is currently on trial for the hit-and-run murder of her husband, Mark Phillips. Allegedly, the couple had a heated argument after a night of drinking. Mark Phillips approached the driver's side of her car, and Lori abruptly drove off leaving him behind. Upon Lori returning home and realizing he was missing, she became concerned and later found him dead in a snowbank in their driveway. If Lori Phillips is convicted of second-degree homicide, she could face up to 25 years behind bars.
