During cross-examination, Amundsen testified there was no evidence explaining why Josie Dikeman — who is on trial for Alexavier’s death — would have wanted to kill the child. However, he said investigators considered whether tension surrounding the release of Alexavier’s biological mother from prison may have been a possible factor.
