59:00Now PlayingProsecutors say Natalie Cochran poisoned her husband Michael because he was about to find out about the Ponzi scheme. In a federal sentencing hearing, her in-laws blasted Natalie and said she stole their entire life savings in a Ponzi scheme.
In the murder trial, Natalie's defense team has argued that husband Michael was part of the Ponzi Scheme, so it would not have been a reason to kill him. They say he died of ill health because he took unapproved medications and supplements for bodybuilding.
Natalie Cochran's case is on trial now in West Virginia. Cochran is already serving 11 years in federal prison for a Ponzi scheme that drained 100% of the savings of her in-laws and others. She was even accused of stealing from the Little League and faking cancer.
