For the most part, business owners in Florida don't have an obligation to keep security cameras. But if they do keep security cameras, they're obligated to make sure that they maintain those records pursuant to their company policy. And if they're notified by an attorney that their recording very well may be of evidentiary value, they're obligated to maintain that recording for litigation purposes.
