After a slip-and-fall injury occurs, you should really try to take pictures of the scene, see if there were any witnesses that saw how you fell, and notify the business owner so that they can do an incident report, and you can prove that the injury happened on that day. Then you need to seek immediate medical treatment to treat for the injuries that you sustained as a result of that fall. And then you need to call a lawyer because you need somebody fighting for you that's going to keep this case moving while the at-fault party who's the business owner hires a lawyer and does the same exact thing to protect their rights.
