Keir Starmer hosted Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, at Downing Street on Wednesday, a day after an airstrike was launched against Hamas leaders in Qatar.
Ayalon proposes that the best way the UK can help in the conflict is support a two-state solution, a framework he thinks can 'stabilise' the tensions.
Ayalon continues to say that the two-state solution is in the best interest of both Palestinians and Israelis, offering 'protection' for both parties.
This solution would recognise Palestine as a state for the Palestinians and Israel for the Jewish people.
Warning of the heavy military involvement from Israel, Ayalon worries 'we have reached the limit' and that in order to 'survive', Israel must lean on diplomacy instead.
