"This was almost exactly a year ago at the old Four Seasons restaurant on Park Avenue," Bernstein recounted. "He became very stiff, and a chair had to be brought for him." Bernstein emphasized the significance of how many people around the President, including some reporters, are aware of these incidents.
The revelations have sparked questions about why Bernstein and his colleagues did not disclose this information earlier. It has become apparent that signs of Biden’s cognitive impairment were evident during the 2020 campaign, where his aides frequently used a teleprompter for even the smallest events.
Despite these concerns, media outlets and the White House had previously dismissed videos showing a seemingly disoriented President Biden as manipulated or deceptively cropped. The Washington Post's fact-checker and The New York Times defended Biden, claiming the videos were part of a misleading narrative created by critics.
