16:21Now PlayingCiting it as one of the major achievements of the 2012 session, Governor Mark Dayton signed into law the omnibus health and human services bill during a ceremony held Monday, April 30th.
The bill restores $18 million dollars to several health and human services programs, which faced reductions as part of the 2011 session budget negotiations. In particular, the program delays the personal care attendant rate reductions; restores funding to the Emergency Medial Assistance Program; and allows people with disablities to remain in the workforce past age 65 and receive Medicaid.
