3:36Now PlayingSen. Pam Wolf, R-Spring Lake Park, layed out the differences between teacher seniority and experience, Saturday, April 28th, during discussion of HF 1870, a bill that would base teacher leaves of absence, demotions and layoffs on teacher evaluation outcomes. Sen. Wolf also said the bill was not an attack on public education, and that it was an affirmation of teachers. Opponents argued the bill does not guarantee the best teachers will remain in the classrooms and will not protect teachers with seniority from budget cuts.
