Sep 16, 20253:43Now PlayingHundreds came to the Capitol Monday morning to attend the first meeting of the Senate’s Gun Violence Prevention Working Group. Over the next three hours, they heard thirteen different proposals on how to protect Minnesotans from gun violence. While the ideas on how to achieve the goal differed, with topics ranging from increasing the penalties for impersonating peace officers to funding a violence prevention project research center, attendees were united by the wish to never see another mass shooting in the state again.
