The mother stays in Bangalore, the property is located in Mumbai and is registered under the Maharashtra Co-operative Housing Society Act.
Answer: Mother can surrender the rights by entering into an agreement waiving her rights and get the agreement registered with the Registrar and the said document can be submitted to the society for making changes in the share certificate about the waiver of rights by the mother.
