Question: My builder has given my under-construction unit to the contractor for their office use. Is it legally permissible to do so without my permission and consent?
Answer: No. It is absolutely illegal and unlawful. You should immediately protest and send a legal notice through an advocate to immediately vacate your under-construction unit. Further, you should ask for damages / money for the unauthorized utilization of your unit. If the builder fails to respond, you can file consumer complaint before the consumer forum asking for vacating the unit along with the damages in money for the unauthorised use of the unit.
