as posted by the channelIn an effort to make our city cleaner, smarter and more liveable, Afroze Shah and his band of volunteers have removed about 2.6 million kg of plastic from Mumbai's once-beautiful Versova Beach.
While most people blame the government for the garbage mess, Shah, a lawyer by profession, decided to take matters into his hands. Instead of filing a PIL, he went door to door and gathered residents to start the Versova beach clean-up campaign.
