Answer: As per your agreement, if the construction work is not proceedings or not in progress, you can any time file suit for the alternate property. You can also approach consumer court which is fast and less expensive for your reliefs. No developer can stop your instalments at all. He is bound to go on with the construction work as per the terms of the agreement and cannot make you wait for long period of time. Kindly see your agreed date of possession, and he has to do work as per the time bound period mentioned in the agreement.
