Question: I have an MHADA property which was taken on rent by my father. I have tenancy rights in this property and I got it back after redevelopment. It can be sold and MHADA can also transfer it. I want to mortgage this property and take a loan on it. The bank refuses to give me such a loan. I have the documents which are in my name. Please, advice.
Answer: Go to various other banks in the locality. See whether anybody else in the building has got something from a bank/NBFC. If yes then use the same bank.
