Answer: After the Union Budget announced, the long term capital gain tax is applicable on property after 2 years of sale. He will get the benefit of indexation as the Finance Ministry has shifted the goal post from 81 to 2001, says Samir Kanabar.
He said, “Any gain arising from liquidation of property (assuming long-term), those incentives, will continue,” said Samir.
