14:41Now PlayingCyclone Nisarga made its landfall a few hours ago in Alibaug, Raigad district. The state has seen a significant impact of the storm. IMD says landfall process to be completed in an hour. Cyclonic storm to weaken in 6 hours and likely to move in north-east direction. The wind speed is now down to 93 kms/hr. All flight operations at the #Mumbai airport have been suspended till 7 PM this evening. ‘Winds have still not crossed 100 kmph. You are not seeing voluminous precipitation. The cyclone turned south and within an hour or two it is going to start decaying’ says Skymet.
