The incident took place at the LG Polymers plant in Visakhapatnam last month. The committee will submit its investigation report by June 22. The gas leak killed 11 people while 1000 others had fallen sick. The plant was reportedly running while violating many norms and policies set to safeguard workers. Over the last one month, people affected by the incident have had a long standing demand of an investigation by the concerned authorities.
