3:17Now PlayingUnlike Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu or Delhi, the Karnataka government has permitted zoos to remain open as a part of Unlock 1.0. Several precautionary measures laid down by the MHA have been implemented at the zoos across Karnataka. As per the Zoo Authority of Karnataka, only a particular number of visitors are being permitted keeping in mind the infrastructure, space constraints, facility and manpower to ensure physical distancing at all times. Most of the ticketing is being done online in order to ensure that minimum contact is established between people. Additionally, people have been urged to carry their own water bottles and glasses. Those wanting to carry homemade food have also been permitted to do so.
