The groom has succumbed to the infection after running a high fever for a week, 113 other attendees present at the function have also tested positive for the deadly virus. The bride has tested negative for the infection, but has been quarantine due to exposure. The contact tracing efforts have spread to nearby adjoining towns of Naubatpur and Bihta from where the relations of the bride hailed. The health officials and local authorities are continuing the search to find all other attendees to curb the spread of the virus.
