3:37Now PlayingThe railways have expanded the local train operations from today onwards to 350 more trains in the Central and Western Railway zones. The passengers will be restricted to essential services personnel identified by the Maharashtra government. Essential services employees include those employed in government offices, defense, postal, judiciary etc. The trains will be operations from 5:50 am to 11:30 pm at the interval of one in every 15 minutes. The services are being expanded to the suburban areas of the Mumbai. The local train services had been suspended in Mumbai amid the nationwide lockdown in March in a bid to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
