The bicycle of the man had hit the cop's bike lightly, however, instead of exercising restraint, the police officer hit the senior citizen in public. There is no visible provocation on the part of the man, even as the officer attacks him openly. There has been a major stir in the country on the Tuticorin custodial death case which has brought to the forefront police brutality as a major issue in India. The video has sparked outrage, even though no action has been taken yet.
