2:35Now PlayingThe Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has partnered with Bharat Biotech International Limited (BBIL) to ramp up clinical trials for the indigenous vaccine for COVID-19. The clinical trials will reportedly be held in 12 institutes across the country and ICMR has asked all to consider the vaccination a "top priority project." BBIL is working on the virus strain isolated at the National Institute of Virology operated by ICMR in Pune. The indigenous vaccination has been given a target release date of August 15. The ICMR has also said that the measures to release and develop the magazine are being monitored at the highest level of the government.
