2:42Now PlayingThe Kerala High Court on Tuesday rejected the petition for discharge plea filed by accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal in the Kerala nun rape case. The court has said that there is adequate evidence for the investigation and court proceedings to go ahead. In his petition, Mulakkal had claimed that he could not be proven guilty based on inadequate evidence. The plea was dismissed by single-judge bench of Justice Shirchy V after hearing arguments on both sides. Mulakkal has been accused in the charges of rape of a senior nun in the church.
