The hospitals have said that they are operating with 50% capacity of the total nursing staff, as many refuse to work amid the dangerous conditions of the pandemic, while others are restricted due to age and co-morbidity conditions.
Dr Aswathnarayan C.N, Deputy CM, Karnataka has responded to the allegations stating that all medical workers, and citizens need to come together to fight COVID-19. He further added that the government will mobilise resources to manage the healthcare infrastructure and that there was no need to panic,
