Mirror Now correspondent Neha Hebbale spoke to MLA Dr Sudhakar K who is the Medical Education Minister after the Karnataka Government took a decision to make it mandatory for private hospitals to provide 50% of the beds to the Govt for treatment of COVID-19 patients. He said that in the government hospitals which we started filling up first and then eventually we started filling the private hospitals who are providing a huge number of beds from their end too.
