He was arrested from the Mahakal temple in Ujjain by the Madhya Pradesh Police on Thursday morning after gunning down 8 police officials in Kanpur. He was allegedly killed in an encounter when he tried to flee and was eventually surrounded by police officials. It is also alleged that he open fired at the police officials and refused to listen.
