The 55-hour lockdown allows the movement of only those people with valid passes working in the essential services. All religious places, malls, and restaurants have been shut for the lockdown period in the state to curb the spread of COVID-19. Public transport services like buses have also been halted in the state amid the sudden lockdown announcement. Chaos ensued at the Delhi-Noida highway today as cops denied people unaware of the rule to enter Noida, the police have also said that strict action will be taken against violators. The lockdown will be lifted on Monday.
