The guidelines for the biggest festival of the state, held with large crowds and fanfare include strict social distancing and no processions. The guidelines issued to organisers state that they need to seek prior permission before erecting the pandal. The state has further asked organisers to restrict the height of the idol to four feet and arrange for online darshan in case they are a large gathering pandal. The guidelines issued also include restricting visarjan of the idol to artificial lakes.
