5:08Now PlayingKarnataka has witnessed a sudden spike in the number of Coronavirus cases. In order to curb this spread, the State Government has imposed a complete lockdown in several districts including Bengaluru. The lockdown will begin from 14th July and will continue till 22nd July.
The Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has urged all citizens to follow the imposed guidelines, and take all precautionary steps to help contain the COVID-19 pandemic curve. This nine-day lockdown will only be exempted for essentials services. Therefore, panic buying has hit the State as people are thronging shops to buy essentials.
