6% of the total cases are confined to 10 states. 2 of these have 50% of these cases - Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu - and 8 other states have 36% cases. India's Recovery rate is 63%. Many states have a higher recovery rate than the national average. Testing capacity has increased drastically. There is a need to work on containment zones, increase testing and clinical management. House to house search for active cases in containment zone needed’, says Rajesh Bhushan, OSD, Ministry of Health.
